Loggerhead Lodge offers three spacious hangout areas—the main living room, a cozy sunroom, and a lower-level lounge. The sunroom features floor-to-ceiling windows with a stunning view of the pond, where you can relax and watch the koi fish swim.
The fully stocked kitchen has everything you need to prepare a delicious meal, complete with a wall-mounted water filtration system—perfect for filling a glass or topping off your water bottle before heading out on a hike.
For relaxation and wellness, the cabin includes a dedicated salt room designed for 15-minute Halo Therapy sessions, known to help improve breathing, ease eczema, and promote deep relaxation.

An Absolutely Perfect Stay for Our Big Family
Our family looks forward to staying at Terrapin Hideaway every year, and it never disappoints. The owners are incredibly responsive and easy to work with, which makes the entire experience stress-free. The cabin is beautiful, spotless, and decorated so nicely. It truly feels like a home away from home. There is plenty of space for both kids and adults to have their own areas, which is perfect for a big family like ours. Terrapin Hideaway is the perfect place for making family memories!
Christmas at Loggerhead Lodge
We celebrated our family Christmas and my parents 50th at the Loggerhead Lodge. The cabin was so spacious and absolutely perfect. The decor is beautiful and the views from the cabin are amazing. The owners have thought of every detail! They even had Christmas decorations in all common areas…including two Christmas trees! Communication was excellent from the time of booking until we arrived. We hope to go back and stay on the property again!
Luxurious and rustic all in one
A group of 4 adults and 4 children had the privilege of staying at the Terrapin lodge. What a great place to gather and relax. We loved everything about this place including the salt room, the pond, the hot tub and all the space to make everyone comfortable. Ashley is a great host.
A Luxurious Retreat
We gathered at Terrapin to enjoy a couple of days of quality family time. And what a treat it was! From the moment you enter the property, you are immersed in nature, serene views and luxury accommodations. Every detail has been thought of by the hosts. The well designed home is spacious, comfortable, and lends itself to large gatherings. Activities are within reach such as fishing, hiking, swimming, games, or just sit on the large deck with your morning coffee or evening cocktail and enjoy the quiet. Our visit will be a special memory for my family.
Blissful Cabin
I have dreamt of a stay at Terrapin since a friend shared photos... and it was beyond our dreams! Every detail was thoughtful and premium. From the luxurious amenities (sparkling hot tub, EV charger, a salt room?!) and design (the sitting areas! inspired lighting, the hand painted mural, and those windows) to the thoughtful comforts (record player! luggage stands! water bottle filler!) to the activities (the walking path, s'mores around a fire, gamed, grilled, baked, fished, luxuriated) -- these spaces pull back the curtain between nature and nurture, immersing you in the best of both. I first went on a girl's trip, then a family stay with my dog and in-laws; both groups ended up skipping trips to Hocking Hills in favor of more time on the property. Back to dreaming of my return...!

The huge cabin we stayed at for my wife’s 50th Birthday was amazing, we loved how beautifully the cabin was decorated, the landscape was very impressive. The owners were great to work with, we will definitely be back for more relaxation and fun! Go check it out for yourself!!
